Parents and Guardians,

Our first UIL eligibility grade check of the school year will take place this Friday, September 25. Students who are failing one or more classes at this grade check will lose UIL eligibility beginning Friday, October 2.

Students will have the opportunity to regain eligibility at the next progress check on Friday, October 16. If, at that time, they are passing all classes they will regain eligibility on Friday, October 23.

We encourage you to review your student’s current grades in Skyward and reach out directly to their teachers with any questions or concerns. Our teachers are available and willing to support students through before-school or after-school tutorials, and we strongly encourage students who are struggling to take advantage of these opportunities.

Please help us remind students that there is still time to communicate with their teachers, attend tutorials, complete missing work when permitted, and make every effort to finish the grading period successfully.
