We want to provide a few important updates regarding schedule changes and upcoming national testing opportunities (AP, SAT, ACT, PSAT).

Schedule Change Requests: Counselors are accepting schedule change requests through Wednesday, August 26th. If a student would like to request a schedule change, they must log into their grade-level Google Classroom and complete the schedule change form posted by the counselors. If they need assistance with getting into their grade-level Google Classroom, they can ask their English teacher for help. Counselors will address requests in the order they are received. Please understand that reviewing and processing requests takes time. Additionally, many elective courses are already full, so not all schedule change requests will be possible. Students should continue attending their currently scheduled classes until their counselor calls them down to talk about their schedule change request.

SAT, ACT, and PSAT Registration: Sign-ups for the fall SAT (seniors only), ACT (juniors and seniors), and PSAT (juniors and sophomores) will be coming soon. VAHS is currently working to load testing information onto our new school app. Please be on the lookout for additional information over the next few weeks regarding registration dates, payment deadlines, and other testing details. There will also be Spring School-Day Administrations of the SAT, ACT, and Pre-ACT for different grade levels. Those registrations will be in January.

AP Fall Payments: We are also working to add AP fall payments to the new app. As soon as this process is finalized, additional information will be shared with students and parents through multiple communication outlets.
