Ella Burkhalter
Hello! I am Ella Burkhalter and I am so excited to be starting my fourth year at VAHS. I absolutely love teaching at VAHS because I believe we have the best students in the world! My goal as a teacher is to ensure that students develop the ability to think, to create a scientifically literate population, and to encourage and foster curiosity and creativity. I graduated from Oklahoma State University (Go Cowboys!) with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science, and I earned my Master of Education degree in Secondary Education from the University of North Texas. I have two daughters who proudly attend Van Alstyne and call themselves Panthers, Audrey - 9th grade and Aleah - 4th grade.
